Morgana Provide Digital Finish For Paradigm.

When Paradigm Print of Leicester purchased a Xerox DocuColor 2060 earlier in the year, Business Development Manager Mark Pietrasik decided it was also time to invest in complementary finishing equipment to maximise its potential.

“Previously” he explains, “ we had run a smaller-sale digital print operation based on a Ricoh black & white and a Canon colour copier and put our finishing work out.” With an operation now concentrated on short run colour, Mark and Account Manager Therese Molloy needed the greater control and guaranteed turnaround that in-house finishing would bring and they chose a package of products from Morgana Systems in order to provide it.

“Xerox themselves suggested we contact Morgana” Mark says “ and having looked at what was on offer, we decided that our needs would best be met by buying an AutoCreaser, a Junior folder and an EBA 551 guillotine.” The AutoCreaser creases digital output prior to folding on the suction-fed Junior, while the programmatic guillotine also features the ease of operation and speed of set-up needed in the on-demand print environment.

With the DocuColor and the Morgana finishing equipment working smoothly in tandem, Paradigm is now able to offer its rapidly growing list of clients a range of improved services. “All we need now” Mark says “ is more room and we are currently on the look-out for new and bigger premises.”
