Record Quarter for Morgana
Morgana Systems Limited, Milton Keynes, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of digital finishing solutions, has announced that it has enjoyed a record first quarter in 2011, with sales hitting an all-time high.
Following a strong order intake through the second half of 2010 the company has increased production staff by 50%, bringing the numbers working at the company's Milton Keynes manufacturing facility to over 100.
“Our lead times had extended to some 16 weeks due to a huge surge in demand for our post-press products in the second half of last calendar year,” said Quen Baum, Managing Director of Morgana Systems. “The additional recruitment has allowed us to double production of our most popular products, including DigiFold and AutoCreaser, in order to meet the increased demand.”
Over 80% of Morgana product is exported from the UK. The company has seen a significant increase in demand from a number of international markets, including USA, Australia, France, and other western European countries. “We are also delighted by the performance of our distributors in a number of emerging markets, including Poland and a number of North African territories,” added Quen Baum.
“Given recent fluctuations in the economy we have to remain cautious, and be aware that this excellent trend will not continue without a strong and consistent sales and marketing effort in all of our markets. We hope that the imminent release of several enhanced, updated and improved products will help to further stimulate sales in all markets.”
