NewsInternational Training School a Success28-02-2007Morgana invests heavily in training. This means that all our engineers receive regular training and refresher courses. This also extends to our overseas dealer network who come to the Morgana headquarters for comprehensive engineering training which covers all aspects of the machines. The most recent training school was taken by Chris James, Technical Training Manager for Morgana on the 5th - 16th February 2007. Six engineers were involved in the latest course with two from Venezuela, Hivan Herrera and Fernando Candia and one from Bangkok, Wisarut Sermkeaw, plus three in house personnel - Neville Clark (refresher), David Chapman (new field engineer), Stuart Tavener (new service coordinator). The course covered FSN & FRN numbering machines, MAJOR & DOCUFOLD folding machines, AUTOCREASER MK2, AUTOCREASER 50, DIGIFOLD and the new DOCUMASTER SYSTEM. The course consisted of getting to know the machines, operator training and fault finding and repair. Upon successful completion of the course to the required standard, the attendees are presented with a certificate to confirm they have passed the Morgana training school. The schools are arranged for overseas dealers 3 - 4 times per year, depending on needs. We often hold specialised training sessions to focus on specific areas along with in depth operator training for customers in our purpose built training room.
